Description
Would you like to discover the island of La Gomera on a single day trip from Tenerife? Then this is your perfect option!
Our day starts by heading to the port of Los Cristianos, where we will take a ferry to the island. Once here, we'll board the bus and head into the Hermigua Valley, where we'll have the opportunity to capture some photos of the breathtaking scenery.
We will continue the excursion until we reach the municipality of Agulo, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch in a typical restaurant with local products. If availability permits, during lunch we will witness a live demonstration of "silbo gomero", a unique language declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
After lunch we will enter the Garajonay National Park, a paradise of laurel forests and a nature reserve also declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Laguna Grande we will learn all the curiosities of this magical place where it is said that the witches of the island used to meet.
We will make a stop at the imposing Roque de Agando, one of the most emblematic places of La Gomera. Finally, we will arrive in San Sebastián, the capital of the island. Here we will have the opportunity to discover the last traces left by Christopher Columbus after his passage through La Gomera, such as the Torre del Conde or the Casa Colón. Once we have finished our visit of San Sebastian, we will head back to the ferry to Tenerife.

A LOVELY TRIP TO LA GOMERA
RICHARD GOODMAN: 14/03/2025
We had a lovely trip to La Gomera. Whilst a full size coach might seem an odd choice for some of the twisting and turning mountain roads on the island, the skill of the coach driver and the calm demeanour of Francisco the guide put everyone at their ease. Francisco was very knowledgeable, imparting lots of interesting geological information as well as covering some of the background to the myths and legends of the island, as well as the history of food production. He was doing this in Spanish, English and German, and was very good. The coach stopped in plenty of places to allow people to get out and explore, take photos and enjoy the island. The lunch stop at the cafe was pleasant, although sadly there were no local wines available. Almost the best bit of the trip was the afternoon stop at the national park forest area, but sadly this was not long enough to explore the area for more than about 20 minutes. The last part of the tour was a bit of an anticlimax, as we got off the coach in San Sebastián de La Gomera, and were just left to wander around for an hour before assembling for the ferry. Once back on Tenerife, there was some more chaos as lots of different coach parties were all being corralled onto lots of different coaches going to different places. This then led to a tour of lots of different resorts and we were eventually dropped off at our pickup point, although we had actually passed our accommodation from a different stop which was not available on the tour that we booked. Would recommend this tour.

DAN HORGAN: 26/03/2025
Not what I have come to exect the food really was appalling .I would rathered to have this time back to get lunch separately, having done a lot of atlantico tours I was extremely disappointed not only with the food but with the overall quality of this trip little or no interaction from the guide not his fault but trying to cover too much in multiple languages, just badly run

We had an enjoyable day out La Gomera. The pick up and return to Puerto de la Cruz was very efficient. The guide was very good and gave excellent information. The group is quite large but that didn’t cause significant problems. There were lots of opportunities to stop and take pictures and appreciate the amazing scenery on the island.
