Description

This excursion leaves from Los Cristianos Port in Tenerife on board the Fred Olsen Express ferry heading for San Sebastian de La Gomera, which is the capital of the island.
We will get on the coach to visit our first stop: the Hermigua Valley.

We will continue the journey through La Palmita to reach the hamlet of Las Rosas in the area of Agulo. There you will have time to have lunch in a typical Gomero restaurant.

If time allows, after lunch you will see the Juego de Bolas Visitors Centre also located in Agulo.

From there, we will drive up to The Garajonay National Park , a paradise of laurisilva – which is a ancient subtropical forest – a nature reserve declared a National Heritage Site by UNESCO. There we will make a special stop at La Laguna Grande, where you can explore the place where it is said the ancient witches of the island used to meet.

On the way back, we will stop to admire the imposing Roque de Agando, an impressive and steep formation of volcanic lava. Finally, we will return to San Sebastian, where you can see the remnants of histórical buildings linked to Christopher Columbus passage before his departure to the American Continent ,such as the Torre del Conde or La Casa de Colón.

  • FANTASTIC TRIP

    IAN MARSHALL: 07/10/2021

We had a great time on our trip to La Gomera, the place was fantastic, and it was one of the best excursions we have ever been on. Our guide for the day was Joaquin and he was great, very knowledgeable and he made the day very interesting and enjoyable. The stops were well spaced and the lunch was excellent, great quality and good fun with the entertainment. There was an issue getting back on the boat for the return trip as I was a foot passenger but Joaquin got it all sorted out on our return, he and his wife really went the extra mile to make sure that everything was resolved without any fuss. I would highly recommend this trip and will bring my partner along the next time we visit Tenerife.

  • BUSAUSFLUG NACH LA GOMERA

    NICOLE SCHUBERT : 02/10/2021
