Description

History and Anthropology come together in this Museum in an attempt to understand society, which has changed rapidly in recent decades, in a way that looks to both the past and the evolving future.

The Museum of History and Anthropology of Tenerife, thus responds to the current trends of collaboration between the two disciplines both in the field of knowledge and in the most particular field of the museum. From this perspective, the Museum aims to offer, through its funds, collections, exhibitions and activities, a broader and richer vision of the history and culture of the island of Tenerife.

The Museum maintains two offices in La Laguna, one in the center of the municipality - Casa Lercaro - and another in Valle de Guerra - the Casa de Carta.
