Tenerife Sky At Night

With Tenerife Sky at Night  you will gaze at the stars  in an exclusive location away from the crowded areas, from the comfort of your mountain-top restaurant.

On the way up to Teide National Park, we'll take in Spain's highest village, the beautiful Vilaflor, cross the famous Canarian pine forest, and stop at viewpoints,  including Los Roques de García, to be wowed by its unique landscapes.

Our destination is 7 Cañadas Restaurant, where you'll be served a delicious 3-course dinner in a specially themed area. Then we will toast the sunset with a glass of cava. 

A starlight guide with more than 20 years of experience will reveal you the often hidden mysteries of the night sky. The Canary Islands is renowned as one of the best, darkest places in the world to observe the heavens. With the help of the latest generation of professional telescopes,  we'll go even deeper into our knowledge of the universe.

This location offers the perfect conditions for quality stargazing due to its low light and noise pollution, with the comfort of the restaurant on hand. 

After the astronomical observation, we will make our way back down to the coast.

Recommendations: Warm clothing and suitable footwear. Teide National Park is at 2100 metres and can be quite chilly, even in the summer months.

Characteristics:

• The stargazing will takes place just behind the restaurant, offering the perfect conditions because a high wall means that it is very dark and quiet. Being close to the restaurant, you can take a break from the nippy air and use the facilities. 
• Our state-of-the-art telescopes are located on an upper terrace of the restaurant with all the comfort of its facilities at hand.
• The activity is carried out solely and exclusively by official guides with Starlight Guide certification –  a team with more than 20 years’ experience who will reveal for you the exciting world of the stars.
• Although more and more people visit Teide National Park at night, the unique opportunity offered by Tenerife Sky at Night is that we will be in an exclusive place, away from the most crowded areas, and without the disturbance of lights and noise.

Starting time: At approximately 4pm.

Duration: 9 hours approximately.

Note:

The tour starts once all participants are on the bus.
Pick-ups may include bus transfers.
Pick up will be at the meeting point closest to your hotel.
This tour may be subject to itinerary and schedule changes due to adverse weather phenomena or circumstances beyond our control.

Accessibility: 

People with reduced mobility should bear in mind that access to the activities is by walking on non-adapted paths or stairs.
