We will leave from Puerto de los Cristianos in Tenerife and take the ferry to San Sebastián de La Gomera, capital of the island. There we will get on the bus to visit our first stop: the Hermigua Valley.

We will continue the tour passing through La Palmita and we will arrive at the village of  Agulo. There you will have time to have lunch in a typical restaurant and, if availability allows it, see a live demonstration of "silbo gomero" (whistle from La Gomera).

Once the lunch is finished we will begin to ascend to the Garajonay National Park, a laurel forest paradise and a natural reserve declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. There we will make a special stop at the Laguna Grande, where you can explore the surroundings where it is said the ancient witches of the island used to meet.

On the way back we will stop to admire the imposing Roque de Agando, an impressive and steep volcanic lava formation. Finally we will return to San Sebastián, where you will be able to see the last historical strongholds of Christopher Columbus's passage before his departure to the American Continent, such as the Torre del Conde or Casa de Colón.

Fantastic company, we all had a great trip to La Gomera- one we will not forget for a very long time. Unfortunately one of the members of our party could not attend, but their money was refunded with no problems. We met the tour guide at Los Cris port. He was very helpful and explained about the ferry and where we were to meet the coach after. Ferry crossing took about an hour, upon arrival in Los Cris, the friendly guide quickly directed us to the coach. La Gomera is a beautiful island, we made many stops along the way seeing many things including stunning scenery, an aloe vera farm, a whistling display and a national park. The guide was one of the most knowledgeable guides I have ever met. He gave frequent detailed information about all the different islands from it´s flora and fauna to its geography and history. 5* would definitely recommend a visit to La Gomera with this professional and well organised company.

We had a great time on our trip to La Gomera, the place was fantastic, and it was one of the best excursions we have ever been on. Our guide for the day was Joaquin and he was great, very knowledgeable and he made the day very interesting and enjoyable. The stops were well spaced and the lunch was excellent, great quality and good fun with the entertainment. There was an issue getting back on the boat for the return trip as I was a foot passenger but Joaquin got it all sorted out on our return, he and his wife really went the extra mile to make sure that everything was resolved without any fuss. I would highly recommend this trip and will bring my partner along the next time we visit Tenerife.
