This excursion is specially designed to live the Teide in a big way.

You will make a magnificent journey through mountain roads, typical Canarian villages and incomparable landscapes. On your excursion you will be accompanied by an official guide, with whom you will get to know the most emblematic places of the Teide National Park, one of the most visited National Parks in the world.

In addition, you will make a guided tour of the Observatory. The Teide Observatory is the largest solar observatory in the world, and its facilities house a wide variety of solar and night telescopes owned by several European countries. There you will receive an introduction to the importance of the Canary sky, what is astrophysics and how do astrophysicists investigate this center, observe sunspots and sun flares through solar telescopes and you will even have the opportunity to visit a night telescope inside.

Important: the price for the option ''VIP- Private Tour '' includes a private tour for 4 people. If you want to add more people to your group, you must select the option ''VIP- Private Extra Person Excursion " and add it to the basket. Maximum of 8 people per group.

The visit to the Teide Observatory does not admit children under 8 years old.

In order to access to the Observatory, you need to have your own vehicle or to book the transport service.

Access to the Observatory by bicycle is not allowed. If visitors plan to take a taxi to the Tenerife Observatory, they must take into account that the taxi has to go with them inside the facilities. There are 2 km distance from the meeting point on the barrier to the inside of the facilities, so the taxi must remain inside the facilties and wait until the activity ends.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS:

If it is not possible to visit the Teide Observatory due to adverse weather conditions, non-residents shall be reimbursed €21.00, and residents €12.60.

Reservations may be cancelled or the date may be changed free of charge until 3pm on the day prior to the activity. Same day or later changes/cancellations incur a charge of €6 per person.

Date changes are valid for 1 year provided that the vouchers have not been redeemed. Any change of date or cancellation must be made within a period of no more than 30 days from the date of the initial booking. Up to 3 date changes are permitted.
